the docket number to the subscriber, thereby reducing the
work load on the exchange staff by automatically registering
the complaint and providing a docket number.
When
a subscriber dials the Automatic Complaint Booking System,
the system greets the subscriber and then prompts the subscriber
to key in the telephone number and record the complaint. After
registering the complaint, the system then announces the docket
number to the subscriber and is ready to take the next complaint.
