Eletronic Keyboard Concentrator primarily acts as an system concentrating the EKBs to the existing Telegraph network. It is connected to the EKBs on one side and works with the SFT/SFMSS on the other.

It can support 16 channels out of which two are towards the message switches. The remaining 14 can be used on Omnibus circuits or 11 on Omnibus and 3 on Full duplex lines. it can work on 12.5, 25, 50 bps speed on Omni bus and 12.5, 25, 50, 75, 100 and 300 bps on Point to Point.

The system is built around a Microcomputer and provides a cost effective solution to interconnect the rural areas with the primary Telegraph network. In this manual the first chapter explains the hardware and principle of working. In the second chapter the system commands are explained. The third chapter discusses the journal printout and fourth is about the various types of protocols followed for working between different systems.
