The need for Telephone Call Simulator system which has been strongly felt in the telecom sector. The TCS is a such highly versatile, user friendly test automatic call simulator system that can independently test, compile data and store the information. Application of TCS improves the efficiency of Telecom equipment maintenance tremendously. TCS equipment covers the Operational Requirements (OR) and Qualitative requirements (OR) of Microprocessor based stand-alone Telelphone Call Simulator equipment

• Testing inter-connection between two or more exchanges.
• Line to Trunk and Trunk to line tests.
• Line to distant exchanges (STD pulse rate verification)
• Tests during installation of new exchanges to verity switch performance
under actual simulation load prior to cut over.
• As a lab precision call generated helping switch designers to debug and
  prove hardware or software designs.
• Independent systems for any type of local exchanges that can be either
electro-mechanical step x step or x-bar type or SPC analog or digital type.
• The system monitors all switching stages, keeps a count of successful and
unsuccessful calls, records the failure/delays with reasons and at the end of
simulation, generates different statistical and maintenance reports in the
  specified format.
• The operation of the system is controlled at two levels, the system level
commands and user data. The system level commands are used to control
the overall operations of the system. The user data is used to control the
traffic generation of the individual ports.
• The system allows creation and modification of the test description,
directory information (O/G & I/C test lines) and other parameters entered
  through simple man-machine flexibility.
• Development of Test programs.
• Transmission of Test programs.
• Collection test results of the performed test.
• Recording the configuration of the unit, the size and capacity of the
transmission links between exchanges, the equipped capacity of the local
  channels etc.
